Data Analyst (Data Extraction and Validation)

  • Data Extraction and Validation

  • Retrieve and validate large datasets from Legacy system.

  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy prior to use in reporting.

  • Data Upload and supporting support

  • Support the end-to-end Oracle data upload lifecycle and assist business teams with upload related issues.

  • Performance Monitoring

  • Monitor KPIs and data quality metrics on a regular basis.

  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of reports.

  • Cross-team coordination

  • Work closely with Finance and CIT PMO to understand and align data requirements.

  • Attend regular check-ins or alignment calls, as needed.

  • Documentation and Knowledge transfer

  • Maintain data dictionaries, documentation of data upload processes, and report guidelines.

  • Ensure proper documentation for handover or audit purposes.

  • Security and Compliance

  • Adhere to Maxicare's internal data privacy and security protocols when handling sensitive information.

  • Coordinate with designated personnel for access or permissions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field

  • Experience in data extraction, validation, and reporting

  • Hands-on experience with Oracle data uploads or similar systems

  • Strong knowledge of data quality, KPI monitoring, and data integrity

  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams (Finance, IT, PMO)

  • Good documentation and data governance awareness

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
