PL/ SQL

We are seeking a highly skilled PL/SQL Developer with expertise in Oracle database technologies and a strong understanding of SQL best practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining PL/SQL code and applications to support our business needs. The candidate should demonstrate proficiency in a wide range of database technologies, including Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB NoSQL, and MSSQL, as well as scripting languages such as JavaScript, Bash Shell, and Batch scripting.

Qualifications:

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain PL/SQL code and applications to support business requirements.

  • Optimize and tune SQL queries and PL/SQL code for performance and scalability.

  • Debug and troubleshoot issues related to database performance, data integrity, and application functionality.

  • Design and implement database schemas, tables, indexes, and views to support application requirements.

  • Utilize Oracle Scheduler for job scheduling and automation tasks.

  • Perform Oracle Database Administration tasks, including backup and recovery, user management, and database performance tuning.

  • Develop and maintain applications using Oracle APEX, Oracle Forms, and Reports.

  • Integrate data from various sources and formats using Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in database development and administration.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL and SQL, with a deep understanding of best practices and optimization techniques.

  • Experience with Oracle Database Administration tasks, including backup and recovery, performance tuning, and user management.

  • Familiarity with Oracle APEX for application development and Oracle Forms and Reports for legacy systems maintenance.

  • Knowledge of Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher for report generation and data visualization.

  • Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite integration and customization is a plus.

  • Working knowledge of MongoDB NoSQL, PostgreSQL, and MSSQL databases.

  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript, Bash Shell, and Batch scripting.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
