Product Owner/Business Analyst

Job Description:

  • Engage with stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements.

  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of existing systems, processes, and user feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Work closely with the Product Manager/Owner and Software Engineering, following Agile principles, to help define requirements/user stories, incorporate feature requests, estimate development effort and prioritize/groom backlog items.

  • Translate business, user, and product needs into requirements (user stories and tasks) and a prioritized roadmap and product backlog based on business goals and resource requirements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UX, product, development, etc.) to design, build, launch, assess, and iterate against product features.

  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including requirements, process flows, release notes and user guides.

  • Collaborate with QA teams to develop test plans and ensure deliverables meet the quality standards.

  • Conduct User acceptance testing/product QA for ongoing deployments and product launches.

  • Propose and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of product delivery.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • University Degree (Equivalent to Bachelor's degree) in Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline.

  • 5 years or more of related discipline experience or demonstrated competency.

  • Technical background/aptitude and willingness to learn, with experience in Drupal/WordPress preferred.

  • Facilitation skills – ability to lead small to medium groups of internal stakeholders towards desired outcomes to meet business objectives.

  • Demonstrated success in defining and launching products that meet and exceed business objectives.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads to support continuous, meaningful delivery.

  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments, with hands-on involvement in product backlog management, requirements gathering, and stakeholder coordination.

  • Proficiency in using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or other project management systems, and familiarity with Drupal or WordPress platforms is an advantage.

Work arrangement: Hybrid

Work Shift: Mid-shift (1pm-10pm)
