Product Owner/Business Analyst
Job Description:
Engage with stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements.
Conduct comprehensive analysis of existing systems, processes, and user feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
Work closely with the Product Manager/Owner and Software Engineering, following Agile principles, to help define requirements/user stories, incorporate feature requests, estimate development effort and prioritize/groom backlog items.
Translate business, user, and product needs into requirements (user stories and tasks) and a prioritized roadmap and product backlog based on business goals and resource requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UX, product, development, etc.) to design, build, launch, assess, and iterate against product features.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including requirements, process flows, release notes and user guides.
Collaborate with QA teams to develop test plans and ensure deliverables meet the quality standards.
Conduct User acceptance testing/product QA for ongoing deployments and product launches.
Propose and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of product delivery.
Qualifications & Skills:
University Degree (Equivalent to Bachelor's degree) in Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline.
5 years or more of related discipline experience or demonstrated competency.
Technical background/aptitude and willingness to learn, with experience in Drupal/WordPress preferred.
Facilitation skills – ability to lead small to medium groups of internal stakeholders towards desired outcomes to meet business objectives.
Demonstrated success in defining and launching products that meet and exceed business objectives.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
Strong project management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads to support continuous, meaningful delivery.
Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments, with hands-on involvement in product backlog management, requirements gathering, and stakeholder coordination.
Proficiency in using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or other project management systems, and familiarity with Drupal or WordPress platforms is an advantage.
Work arrangement: Hybrid
Work Shift: Mid-shift (1pm-10pm)
