Job Description

The SQL DBA/Developer will be responsible for the database design and development requirements for the Auto Replenishment Application and Hospital Dashboards. The role requires solid experience in data warehousing design and data integration and processing using the MS SQL platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a well-structured data warehouse adhering to best practices to support dashboard and reporting needs.

  • Develop and maintain sustainable, flexible ETL processes using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

  • Provide reliable and optimized data sources for Tableau dashboards.

  • Perform QA and unit testing of ETL pipelines and data workflows to ensure accuracy and reliability.

  • Document development work clearly through code comments, technical specifications, and knowledge transfer materials.

  • Conduct knowledge transfer sessions to ensure seamless transition to support and maintenance teams.

  • Perform daily monitoring and troubleshooting of database and ETL processes to maintain data availability and performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Extensive experience in data warehouse engineering and SQL development.

  • Strong expertise with Microsoft SQL Server (preferably MSSQL 2012/2017 or later) and SSIS.

  • Minimum of 4 years solid hands-on experience with MS SQL.

  • Proficiency in T-SQL, data management practices, and ETL design and implementation.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and a structured approach to testing.
